Anyone here listen to em? Im like obsessed with them.. I own all their cds and I believe that I have every song that there is to get. I can't wait until they tour in the U.S.

One of my friends really likes rammstein. I'm not much into metal, but I asked a friend of mine from holland about the lyrics, and he said they suck. I had always wanted to know what the fuck they were saying.

I like'em...they're riffmasters from hell...and they got quite good lyrics if you ask me. Not that usual "I love you, I miss you" or "I'm so sad, I'm so angry". Got political lyrics and are able to criticize the establishment with a good dose of humor

Wow, maybe he was wrong, he was dutch afterall, so german would be a second language. Do the lyrics compete with sayy....metallica? I've only heard a few of their songs, the only one that sticks out in my mind is du hast (sp???) the instrumental is really good, but I can't stand not being able to understand them.

Du Hast is a horrible example of their lryics.. A good song could be.. Tier.. If you are really into the music like me you could read the lyrics and realize that the writer may have endured something like this, or maybe a family member. Most of the songs have good morals behind the music if you can interpret it.

Yeah...Du hast lyrics are average shit. Even Linkin Park could come up with something like that... Rammstein have been misinterpreted many times...and they like it. They play with it. They have many times been accused of being nazi followers, extremists, etc. Even Der Spiegel, which is one of the most respected magazines in Europe (dunno about the states) has made that mistake. But in one song, Tim clearly states his political view: They want my heart in the right spot (right meaning rightwing) But then I look down and see Hy heart beats on the left side

i gotta say, the first time i heard the song "mutter" i thought he was yelling out "mota" which is Spanish for weed.. lol.. you'll understand why it's so funny if you listen to the way he builds it up. "mota? mota?? MOTAAAAA!!!!" everytime i hear it i feel like blazing a fat owl..
