I know the thread is titled 2pac AND biggie, but this response is just incase it turns into a biggie VS. 2pac thread. This is my response to a biggie vs. 2pac thread from about a month ago:
You cannot compare Biggie and 2pac. They had one thing in common: they were rappers. They (for the most part) rapped about two completely different things. Biggie rapped about drugs and the struggle that came with it. 2Pac rapped about the poverty struggle. Biggie was a story teller, Pac was an activist. For the lyrics and the writing content, I'll give it to Pac. But for a flow, Biggie takes the cake, and there hasn't been a rapper with a better flow yet. But you can't have one without the other.
Now with that aside, this question is the one that got both of them killed. This question was the fuel to the fire (the beef).
So if you can see through the "biggie vs. 2pac" or the "west vs. east" and respect both of these rappers, then bravo to you because we need more people like that.
Rest in peace Christopher Wallace and Tupac Shakur. You guys were the best of the best, and changed the rap game forever.
The title in this video says it's a battle, but they weren't battlin, just havin' a good time.
