That kind of sucks that only the MC's can vote though. But I can see why.

it actually makes sense. do we want a person who's not even a rap fan casting his vote?

honestly, when i started listening to rap i really wouldn't have been sure what to look for in a written.

actually i just got an idea...

what if we have a separate sign-up thread for voters? it could get complicated... but it'd stay simple enough to pull off. and i doubt anybody who's not really into rap would bother to sign up as a voter.

Other people can make comments, but only contestants vote. Who get's to pick the beats?

pick your own beats but post it up when your verse so we know how to follow your flow.

since everyone's throwin it down on the first round whatever picks the beat, from then the person with the most votes the previous round picks the beat? anyone feelin that?

uh, well... that could work. but.. if only the contestants are voting, that means every thread will total in at 11 votes. so you're proposing when two previous-round-winners get placed against eachother, the person who picks the beat is the one who had more of the 11 votes in his previous battle?

that works. but not if you just meant that the winner picks the beat... that doesnt work. because each rapper in every battle after the first round is a winner of the previous.

i'll join, i wanna battle hippopatiumus420 though, never read any of his rhymes but our names rhyme and thats hard to do.
