hey gc,
I LOVE southern rap by artists like lil jon and esb. so i was thinking, this genre of rap is like black peoples country music. thought occured to me while i was high the other day.

I hate lil jon. I am from atlanta and i like alot of southern rappers but i think lil jon sucks. He makes so good beats but he just ruins the song by just yelling and yelling. I also dont think rap is black peoples country music. No black people listen to country but alot of white kids love rap. The funniest thing i have ever seen is a white kid trying to act black.

dave chappelle proves this and its hilarious. anyway i think nappy roots is alright, i really like outkast, nelly is annoying though

Wait does lil jon even rap? At first I thought it was just a joke, the whole Chappelle's Show skits and such. Then I started to catch some of the videos he is "featured" in. Well if yelling "WHAT?!?!" makes you a featured rapper, I'm fucking Method Man.

But, I do get what you're saying, that Southern Rap is kinda different than other rap. I mean I wouldn't know if this is true, but if it is, I see your point.
