Re: Good music to trip to?

Dude best album hands down to trip to, just the entire length of the album, is Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robot (Album) by The Flaming Lips. One of the most beautiful and atmospheric albums ever, well at least in the past 20 years haha. It just completely sets the mood through the music, and has so many overlapping synths, rhythms and tones that make your mind just have an orgasm when you're tripping balls hahah. Of course, It would help if you liked this type of psychedelic synthesized indie band music hahah

Re: Good music to trip to?

Sometimes, like right now, I like to listen to ambient music while I'm high. I got a track that's 51 minutes long and it's a huge mix of trippy sounds and a spacey beat.

If your trippin acid then the DISCO BISCUITS (note the caps for emphasis) are what your looking for. Zilla is a great band to trip to also. The great part about both these bands is that you can download a ton of free legal shows from archive.org

Dr. octagon is another fun trip. Its also fun to listen to while smoking.

Re: Good music to trip to?

I'll categorize these according to the type of trip you wanna experience

Classic black light lit room that is more of a mind trip

Beatles
Doors
Pink Floyd
Hendrix
Iron Butterfly
Shit I'll just stop and say any psychedlic music from the 60's

If you're looking for a more modern chill without 60's music and you like Electronica

Northern Lights by Sasha and Digweed. We would literally play the same CD for half of the trip. The sounds penetrate every part of your mind and body.

Anything by Enigma

Atmospheric Breaks by Chris Fortier.

Wanna just trip your fucking ass of and grab your sanity by the balls?

Korn (they hold a special place in my heart because my friend and I tripped our fucking asses of one night off of liquid to the point where I think we could have literally killed someone. We were running around the house in such a hyped up state of aggression, everyone else who was rolling were literally scared of us. As soon as Dead bodies everywhere came on, I started screaming DEAD BITCHES EVERYWHERE!! ( I had just broke up with my first girlfriend of 3 years) . This caused us to go into the most hysterical laughter that I have ever experienced. I mean, I thougth we had finally lost it but it was ok. After that, my friend was sitting on a bar stool and I walked by and touched his ear and pretended that nothing happened. He looked at me with this insane expression on his face and said "don't think I won't kill you" This again, made us burst in to another bout of hysterical laughter.

White Zombie
Metallica
Basically anything that gets you hyped up. You get this feeling of invinsibility but it's not like you're unaware of it. You know the line of sanity is about to be crossed but as long as your mind is strong enough, it actually enhances the trip

Not really. I could not listen to rap while trippin. It lacks substance for me and substance is needed while trippin IMO. This is a personal preference though

I'm sure country would suck also.

It really depends on what type of trip you want. That's one thing I think most don't take in to account when they plan a trip. Music can make or break a memorable trip.
