"creative" vs "NOT creative" weed

if your a musician musician or artist of some sort you know, if you are involved in art in general, there is sometimes weed taht makes you want to create art, but there is sometimes weed that just makes you say fuck it ill jsut go eat something. i dont know maybe its just me, or isthere anyone else who thinks its this way?

so, help a musician out. what strains (if it works this way, of course) should i pick out next time in order to CREATE MUSIC!.... ?

They say that Sativa and Sativa dominant strains give you more of an energetic creative high. But I cannot back that up since I don't have the luxury to get dank weed with names.

last pickup i had a quarter of indica dominant something i forget what he told me, i dont usually care about the names, but i felt VERY creative, and jsut enjoying playing music. thats why i cant figure it out, sativa or indica, or maybe some of the strains dont make you want to paly music or something, i dunno.

I had some legit Sour Diesel awhile back and that stuff just made me want to get up and do stuff. Like I wasn't able to just sit on the couch and watch tv, I felt like I was wasting myself if I wasn't being creative.

Weed in general helps me out a lot with music, the only problem is I usually get sidetracked very, very easily.

Try getting together with a couple friends, smoke a blunt, and just jam. No set agenda, just have someone start with a riff or beat, and join in. You'd be surprised what you can come up with, jam for the fun of it, don't set an agenda of "We need to write 2 songs today, one is going to be funky, and the other heavy", do whatever feels right in the moment.

If possible, record it, since I doubt you'll remember how everything went. I used to throw a multitrack recorder on the floor and just use the internal mic, and we recorded some epic 12 minute long jams. The recording isn't going to be the greatest, but if you can audibly hear the song, you'll have a much easier time repeating it then just remembering.
