Guitar tablature

I used to buy tab books for some of my favorite artists or albums. Now mostly I use online sites to get my tabs. I mainly use ultimate-guitar.com. It's a great site with LOTS of tabs. Some of the more lesser known bands I have trouble finding though, so I was wondering what you guitar players favorite sites are. It would be nice to have a couple backups

I just took a quick look at my bookmarks; most are from Ultimate, with some Tabseek and 911tabs. Check out Ben Lowery for good video lessons.

Ultimate-guitar is the only one I use. If you're looking for something specific that you cant find let me know and I can prob tab it for you.

UG is good. Their lesson section is nice. Their tab selection is good but you're better off using 911tabs because they search all the sites and display them in a much more user friendly way (search criteria for one)

I've always read its better to learn by ear though. I try, but its fucking hard, because theres a lot of stuff I want to learn that I can't find tabs for (namely Lightnin Hopkins)

Yeah deff. As much as I like UG and 911, they seem to come up short on a lot of good music that just isn't all that popular. I have trouble finding wholey accurate tabs, and I'm a stickler for accuracy. I've learned to partly play by ear, but I am not always aware of the tuning(s), tone effects and note accents, if any. Tabs help with this sometimes, but not always effectively.
