Any love for Freddie King?

He's gotta be my favorite blues guitarist. He kept the groove like a metronome, had a biting guitar tone and a huge voice.

Actually, what makes me laugh about King, is how he wears his guitar strap over the shoulder instead of around the neck.

I tried that once and it didn't work out too well, haha.

LMAO I've never noticed that collar before - that's just ridiculous.

I noticed that, too, and I've also tried it. Didn't drop my guitar, but it starts slipping for sure. He dwarfs that ES-355, too. That's no small guitar.

Damn, I know. He makes that thing look like a kids toy.

Speaking of the blues, are you into James Cotton?

I tend to shy away from the bluesmen that go heavy on the harmonica
