are the 4 standout tracks in my opinion.

Off the first few listens, i'm not really feeling Phone Home, Mrs. Officer, or LaLa.

Seems like people really like that Dr. Carter song but I'm not really seeing the big deal over it, the beat has an old school feel to it but it just sounds average to me.

Nothin on Me and Comfortable are pretty damn old, it's kinda surprising to see these 2 make it on there. I think for just straight lyrics Nothin On me is the best song on the album, and Comfortable is a good song too, but still for a release this anticipated you would expect brand new material.

I also would have honestly preferred more Kanye beats instead of the David Banner ones....I fuck with Banner but I'm just not feeling his recent stuff all like that and I don't think his beats sound right with Wayne for some reason.

I'll have to listen thru a few more times, but I can't say I think it's as good as I thought it was going to be. I think Wayne tried too hard to try different beats and concepts for the songs and it's somewhat hit or miss. I guess some people will appreciate that and that's cool, but when you compare the 1st 2 Carters to this one it just really lacks the raw street tracks like BM Jr, Tha Heat, Tha Mobb, Fly in/Walk in where Wayne just rips it from start to finish. I really wouldn't be shocked if a lot of the songs that made it on there were because of the record label pushing for them to be on there, but at the end of the day I'm gonna bump it regardless so I'm cool.

Lil' Wayne's highly anticipated forthcoming studio album, The Carter III, was leaked over the internet, last night(May 30th). And the DJ openly responsible for the act, DJ Chuck T, is vehemently lashing back at Weezy for the comments he made against mixtape DJs earlier this week.

In a statement explaining his act of vengence, DJ Chuck T wrote, "Lil' Wayne said f*ck mixtape DJ's...so now i'm about to show that boy the meaning of bootleg," he explained. "I'll be damned if I let [anyone] get away with saying f*ck me without him facing some type of repercussions, including Lil' Wayne. Free Carter III download."

As SOHH previously reported, Lil' Wayne, shocked the mixtape world in an interview with Foundation magazine, where Weezy, who has had success with his Dedication and The Drought series mixtapes, cursed out and discredited the entire mixtape DJ fraternity. Appalled by the self-proclaimed "best rapper alive" comments, Chuck T, a resident Dirty South DJ, decided to take a stand against Wayne.

"I see the b*tchassness of a lot of mixtape DJs right now," Chuck said. "DJs love to talk sh*t about each other and bash each other for no reason, but are scared as hell to stand up for themselves when someone talks sh*t about the group as a collective. I figure I'll do what I've been doing since day one and [stand] on my own."

"I gave [Wayne] a pass when he kissed another man because that sh*t didn't affect me," he continued. "He's not sliding on this one. Don't buy the new Lil' Wayne album. Download it for free!"

The irate DJ also issued an apology to his friends and associates at Wayne's record label Cash Money/Universal Records.

"I would sincerely like to apologize to all my friends and business associates at Universal and Cash Money Records for any problems this may cause," he explained. "If you never want to deal with me again then I totally understand. No hard feelings."

Either way I've still had those "new" tracks for at least a month now that I think about it. I downloaded Carter III twice, I forgot I had it and I got it about a month ago. I'm just tryn to say they were out before today man.

LOL @ dude acting like someone else wouldn't have leaked the album anyway and this is somehow going to be the downfall of Lil' Wayne career. Wayne was on DJ Drama's show last night I think talking about how the only 2 mixtape DJ's he fucks with are Drama/Khaled and sometimes that Raj Smooth dude.

He said the comments were a result of him going online and seeing the "Wayne's World" series volumes 1-7 and I guess being pissed that they were acting as if it were official and authorized for release thru them, like Dedication was with Drama. Being that there were 7 volumes I guess it made dude go off the deep end in the interview with that mixtape magazine but he also seemed to mention being pissed at the Carter 3 sessions being leaked last summer also, and that was supposed to basically be the real Carter 3 but I guess he needed to re-do it as a result of that shit getting leaked.

there has been several leaked carter 3's....some of these songs are old, but the majority of the songs were just leaked the other day

i just read bout chuck T releasin tha carter III.. i listened to a few of the songs you posted blazed and they're fire compared to a bunch of the other shit hes been pushin out lately. i still think weezy was in his prime when he first started bein featured on mixtapes, especially the earlier waynes world mixtape series.
