Does anyone here listen to technical death metal? Bands like necrophagist, the faceless, beneath the massacre, suicide silence, psycroptic, born of osiris, etc. Great to listen to stoned...mind blowing music haha.

ive heard suicide silence and seen them live not to bad not really into that music anymore though kinda grew outta it

Born of Osiris, Brain Drill, Garden of Shadows, Lykathea Aflame (kind of grindcore) and Suicide Silence are pretty sick. Necrophagist is simply ok. I don't know if you like Brutal Death Metal cause Ribspreader and Gorgasm are both some good BDM and they're pretty technical.

Sopme of that stuff is crazy, dont get me wrong I love love metal but groups like Five Finger Death Punch, DevilDriver, Born of Oriris is ok, some other songs on those other groups. Some is just to hardcore I guess.

hahahaha brain drill, good shit. i can't believe you think necrophagist is simply ok, they are pretty the standard of tech death in my opinion. first of all they're brutal, they have craazy time signatures and weird rhythmic patterns and all the songs have such moods. "to breathe in a casket" sounds exactly like what it would feel like being trapped in a casket underground, craazzy.

and gorgasm is intense. love bree screams haha

Eh, if Brutal Death is your choice music you'd probably be more pleased with Devourment then anything else. Goregasm is decent, but certainly not the best BDM ever. Beheaded is excellent, too. Dying Fetus is pretty good, though its a stretch to call them Brutal Death.

Technical Death isnt my deal. Basically cant stand it, honestly, but I can understand why people do, being a devote metalhead myself.

Ive seen most of those bands you guys have previously listed at this and last years New England Hardcore and Metal Festival, good shit.
