Yeah, I've been playing for about five years as well. I just bought a 2006 American Series Stratocaster last week. Got a Fender MIM Stratocaster and an Epiphone Les Paul as well as a Line 6 Spider III 75w amp and a Vox Pathfinder 10.

Picked up an electric at 10 and an acoustic at 17, and am now 3 weeks from my 21st birthday. I write a lot of stoner-folky Dylanesque stuff. Guitar is still my main instrument, although I've dabbled in most of the rest.

6 1/2 years and going! Anything Melodic. I have a Dean Acoustic, and I have a thing for Signatures. A Kirk Hammett Sig, and a Dean Dimebag Tribute are what I strum currently.

Taught myself a little over 5 years ago. Still going strong today.
I got some cheap ass stratocaster knockoff - which needs to be replaced badly. Neck is warping, got tremelo issues, all kinds of stuff.
