The Brain Jonestown Massacre

I was digging through my old CD collection earlier today when I came across an old BJM CD, been listening to it all day. Most of you probably don't know who The Brian Jonestown Massacre are because they have become more famous for their antics then their actual music. They always appear on those "Music Blow Ups" clips they always show on VH1. You know the scene where the lead singer gets into a fist fight with his band mates on stage, and it just happens to be their biggest show ever? Where talent scouts were scattered throughout the audience.

Yeah well, they never broke it in to the mainstream pretty much because of that incident and because their lead singer is probably the biggest jack ass on the face of the planet. But the band is still around (with a completely different cast of characters) and they still pump out great music. But its the old BJM that tickles my ears. Some of the best music you will ever here.
