Who here likes the Ramones...I tend to like more hard rock...metal rather then punk, but come on...they started it all..New York Dolls where glam...The CLash couldn't make up there mind, the Sex pistoles came after the Ramone..."man, they were so New York...there was also something irreducibly American about them. u should've here asked who doesn't like the ramones? they're amazing. i got a chance to see misfits live a year or so ago, with marky ramone on drums. my buddy knew teh guy who drove their bus, so we got to go back and talk with all them. the concernt was in a huge golf dome place, and we went backstage and got to hit some balls at the driving range with marky, jerry, and dez. plus, there was a stocked buffet and shit, it was awesome

Eh, I'd rather listen to the Germs or the Damned. Never really got into the Ramones.

Yeah?..thats awesome dude!, I would have killed to see the Ramones back n the day, but that cool you chilled with Marky, jerry and dez.

I honestly only know Blitzkrieg Bop and I Wanna Be Sedated. I never got into a lot of punk. Although I think The Clash are better.

I agree, The Clash had something more interesting and listenable about them.
