Im a professional audio engineer in los angeles, and I just got into a discussion with an artist here on GC, so I was like fuck it, might as well just start an engineering thread here and see what happens. Not too many guidelines, lets just talk shop.

Who else here loves signal flow???

PS I like to just start threads and not really op them lol, so feel free to just take this anywhere

I respect your job a lot. As a professional musician, I find the job of a sound engineer to be just as important as mine, maybe even more. I really want to include a sound engineer in my projects, as to give my music that trademark sound.

Are you into live sound processing, aka real-time audio deconstruction? That stuff amazes me.

Not sure what u mean exactly, are u talking about live shows, running sound for that?? Or u mean tweakin shit and kinda makin electronica music live??

What I do is run sessions in Studios basically. As a job. Artistically I make beats, write and Produce, which is much more than just making beats. (LOL every beatsmith nowadays calls himself a producer)

(Dont listen to this guy) he says hes a super producer with a studio and connects to major labels but he aint got shit he told me he would make me a rap star and had me come to cali n tried to have sex with me.
