Yeah same here. At first I thought this band was supposed to be a satire of the gothic movement, and then I saw that they were serious. No offense meant to you Pink, what ever floats your boat.

Type O is great. Drove 3 states away to see them, twice.

To understand the music you'd have to listen to a good portion of it, watch a couple interviews and read some stuff about them. A lot of it is comical and filled with satire, Black No. 1 (their most popular song) is in fact making fun of the "Goth" movement.

Peter Steele (the bassist/vocalist and basically the whole inspiration behind the music) is quite intelligent and rather mentally ill.

The result is an interesting thing.

You've good tastes.

Yeeah. I always thought they had a comical nature about them. I mean, I don't know if they're really all that serious or not- but regardless, i like their music. It's music to my ears. Rahahaha...

i agree there is a degree of satire in a few of there songs, that i have heard. i believe there is a song about liking girls. and the reason this song exists is because peter was approched by some guy who tried to pick him up or something

I will never be able to forget listening to the intro of My Girlfriend's Girlfriend on repeat like a thousand times when I was a kid. I don't quite like the rest of the song so much but it's listenable.
