Me liking The Stones? Really?

Well I've never been a huge fan but I gotta say their starting to grow on me. Especially these two songs, videos are pretty good to lol.

I know the feeling.

I'd only ever really heard their popular singles and never really liked them all too much. Then a couple of weeks ago, my brother sent me Exile on Main Street...fucking TERRIFIC album! Sweet Virginia and Ventilator Blues are awesome songs.

Stones have good songs, nobody can really argue against that. But I think Zeppelin owns them in terms of musical expertise (the numbers of tickets sold in the 70s doesn't lie, either).

I remember sitting at college with my friend, we were both blazed and I always liked to check out VH1 Classic when baked. "You can't Always Get What you Want" was just starting, it was great. I love that song. My favorite Stones song is "Sympathy for the Devil."

It's useless comparing groups because it all comes down to personal taste. I'd throw the Beatles and the Floyd into the discussion too. And personally, I couldn't pick one of the four out as better than the other because they each have their own merits.

As for the stones, I also really didn't start liking them until recently, basically by accident. some more good songs: brown sugar (love the guitar), some girls, as well as a lot of the ones mentioned above

Yeah...it is obviously all opinionated. But in my wise opinion, Zeppelin is the greatest band to ever walk the earth lol
