Listening to music while high

is a borderline religious experiance for me.

Yesterday i got real high with my bud and decided to put on some sublime, i almost went to a different world.

I closed my eyes, I heard subtle notes that i never heard before, i was jammming with the music like i never did before.

I WAS THE MUSIC

I was in the studio playing the music myself, not just listening.

I was anticiapting every note, waiting for it in excitement. Then, I put on some Dragonforce - through the fire and flames, and it almost brought a single tear to my eye how awsome the riffs were.

God, I love how the ganj makes music sound...

Basically my first positive experience with marijuana was because of music. Before I used to be VERY anti-pot. V-E-R-Y!

Then one night a few years ago when over at my cousins house for a party and bonfire, they were all in the garage so I went to see what was up. Turned out him and a couple other guys were tokin up. I finally just said, "eh, what the hell.." and joined in.

Afterwards I didn't really feel stoned, I didn't really understand what the big deal was. I went back to bonfire and sat down. One of my other friends who was smoking too came over and put Pink Floyd in teh cd player. (Up until then I didn't "get" Pink Floyd)

What proceeded to happen was really one of the most amazing things ever. I fell into the music, I remember closing my eyes and gettin the most amazing visuals of flying through space with the music, I don't even remember all of what I was seeing but all I know is that it deeply affected me. I thought of things in a way that I had never thoguht of them before. I finally understood it.

Been smokin ever since

yeah same here. i always thought pink floyd was kinda weird/lame. but when your high all the "odd" noises in there music really stand out and its amazing. when i listen to "comfortably numb" while high i feel like im floating in the music. god its good.

Hehe, thats exactally how i felt, like i was flying throgh the music. I also forgot to say that later when i was listening to some 311 i opend my eyes and saw a waving flag of yellow/red smily faces for a few seconds. it was really awosme. im starting to think that my visuals reflect how i feel
