okay, these guys are out there, they make weird music, with somewhat complex upbeat techno sounding beats.
download "Beat Connection", smoke a bowl and tell me it doesn't make you want to move...even if you're completely annoyed by how upbeat it is, like me

Fuck yea! I love these guys. They know how to make you dance and have a great time. They played ACL last year and it was fucking 100 degrees out and it was such a blast..

Great band. James Murphy is one of my heroes, except for that legal dispute with the guys from Death From Above 1979. That pissed me off.
Anyway, LCD Soundsystem is definitely trippy and techno-influenced, but it's more rocking than some are willing to admit. If Josh Homme says it's rockin', it's rockin' enough for me.
