like someone has mentioned before, i also hold lil wayne as the epitome of the radio "trash" rap that the corporate world cranks out on a daily basis. he has the potential to be good, but he just wastes it on being a sellout. his rhymes are just more of the same, about the same shit, pullin a blindfold over the eyes of the younger generation, that is, the generation who is currently loving this New World pop culture, you know because without a New World Culture (culture that glorifies money, sex, drugs, ignorance, and apathy; and yes this culture is worldwide except for certain parts of the middle east, south america, africa, and north korea), there can be no New World Order. there is no real message in lil wayne's, or any of the mainstream rappers music, and all their shit sounds the same. remember when the majority of rap music wasn't shit? like back in the 90s? remember wu-tang and the pharcyde? those were the days. there are still some alright rappers out there but on the whole, the golden era of real rap has passed, and it is now replaced by the corporate, product placement filled "commercial hip-hop". the shitty teen-scene pop music is the same too. there's less product placement but its still just mind numbing bullshit.

now the new generation is going to be a bunch of materialistic slaves. ignorant of their own ignorance and apathetic towards their own apathy, it is a mental bubble that enslaves the soul. and whats worse, these slaves will believe that they are free!

I got a few things to say about weezy. A lot of people hear his shit on the radio like pop bottles or lollipop and think thats it its all hes got. Listen to his mixtapes and shit. Drought 3 and dedication 2. The dude has a mainstream side but he's got a lot of other shit too. If you dont like rap then you probably wont like wayne. cause most rap is about money, hoes, drugs, but he spits fire. Ima hip hop head, i listen to alot of hip hop, and I know lil wayne is fire but alot of his shit gets diluted and and watered down cause he puts out so many songs. but to say he got no talent is retarted.

He speaks the truth, Dedication 1 is the shit with the "Down and Out" beat and the "You Gunna Love Me" just got me hooked.

most of the people i hang out with have, im not going to say a low IQ because thats only the case like half the time, but their all jocks and have no appreciation for any kind of art or intelligence. and they all love lil wayne. one time after listening to one of his songs my buddy was like 'he has the sickest voice, dude'. and that just explained everything. no one cares about his nonsense lyricism, they just like his style.

and if anyone wants to prove me wrong, PLEASE post some clever lyrics by him. ive been scouring his songs forever trying to find some impressive lyrics and im really not finding anyting that will account for his popularity
