yah, very suprised at how much this kicked ass.
i mean, it's not radiohead, but it's a pretty awesome and interesting take on it. just goes to show you how influential radiohead really was (and is)

There are some things in this world that should not be fucked with, Radiohead being one of them. But I still gave this a shot and was really digging the Videotape remix... until the rap stanza came in and completely ruined the entire tone and meaning of the song. This guy takes one of the most heartbreaking but beautiful songs ever written by man and crowbars in a rap ballad thats lyrics do not gel or fit in with the message of the song WHATSOEVER!!!
You can remix a song and make it better, but don't fuck with the meaning or feeling of the song when you do it... especially with a song like Videotapes that envokes such raw emotion and empathy in people by putting some fucking rap in it with lyrics that talk about Darth Vader and whatever else the fuck the guy was saying. But if you do change the feeling or tone of the song, then you should revamp the ENTIRE song. But instead this guy keeps the somber but hopeful lyrics and sound of Radiohead and jams it in with some rapper talking about things that has nothing to do with what Thom Yorke is singing about. You want some good Radiohead remixes? Then listen to Radiodread, or as they are better known as Easy Star All Stars.
