The Shins...
I love The Shins. There's no better music to just smoke a bowl and chill out with. It's so peaceful, just listening to them makes me happy. I just felt the need to say this, who else loves 'em?

Know Your Onion! is one of my favorites by them. The new album isn't as good as some of their old ones though.

Their new sound is too different to compare. I love both though. Too bad they suck live, unless you're completely stoned.

Trust me, they aren't great live. Too hard to get their specific sound across live.

Yeah, first time I heard Band of Horses I was instantly reminded of The Shins... but I definitely don't think they're as good. Still like BoH though, and own both of their albums.

Check out Olivia Tremor Control and Spoon as well. I think you'll definitely dig them if you like The Shins.
