rap is not music. know you why? because music requires a melody, something rap doesnt have.

There are tons of good hip hop artists, most of which you tools have probably never heard. There's a few indie hip hop heads here that know what's up, but most of you don't know a fucking thing. Commercial rap sucks... wooo, that's nothing new. Most all commercial music sucks, with the exception of a few artists. You all should really open up your mind and educate yourselves before talking so much shit about something you don't know anything about... and why the FUCK do you have alternative/rock/punk as one? Are you fucking kidding me? Alternative rock? hahaha. Give me a break. Turn your radio off, and again, start educating yourself. As for melody, there are a lot of hip hop artists that create very complex rhythms with creative melodies going on, and there are plenty of lyricists that would put your vocabulary to shame. These guys are extremely intelligent and very talented writers. Do some research on indie hip hop before you run your mouth. It doesn't matter if the style is to your liking, as long as you recognize the skill.
