John Mayer

Who here enjoys his music? I must say that I am into pretty much all of his material. I especially enjoy:

Belief
Why Georgia
Vultures
Bigger Than My Body
Clarity

I was lucky enough to see him play live last summer at the Hollywood Bowl and I'm gonna see him again on Dec. 8th in LA...I'm very stoked!

John Mayer is living the American dream. He started out playing pop so he could get his name known. Then, John busted out his blues chops and shook us all. His cd "Try!" with his trio is amazing; Steve Jordan is an incredible drummer and Pino Palladino holds it down on bass(you might recognize his sound from D'Angelo's "Voodoo"). Dude's shared the stage with Clapton, BB King, and Buddy Guy to boot. Mayer's gone out with Jennifer Love Hewitt and Jessica Simpson, and is also into designing and writing. The true "renaissance man".

hell yeah john mayer is kickass, he used to be a backup guitarist for SRV & Double Trouble. Watch his austin city limits it's real good. Not to mention he partakes in some herbal enjoyment, I've never been to a john mayer show without noticing his eyes being ridiculously bloodshot.

Funny you should bring him up. I used to despise this guy when he first came out. Then, a few years back, I read something about him going into blues. I thought "yeah, right. just another hack".

Well, I hadn't heard any of his blues until 2 weeks ago, he happened to be performing live on some Late night news show. It was indeed, pretty fucking sweet.

I was quite blown away, in fact, I will probably pick up his blues music shortly. Also, had no idea he used the herb.

Hell yes, it's hard to hate on him.
