I have always HATED music videos for the fact that they incorperate image into sound, but thats anouther story. Back in the day when Prodigy's Fat Of The Land CD came out, they put out this video and it is by far the best music video ever created. Just turn up the volume and watch it till the end. You'll be suprised

But Geo, I don't understand what you mean at all when you say you hate music videos because the incorporate images with sound... you mean like... a movie?

I think he meant that sometimes songs that would otherwise suck are remembered mostly for their video, or in a less extreme sense, the video dilutes the impact of the song itself

Music = Sound. Nothing more. No visual is needed for sound.

Music + Video = Corperate greed, and trying to make a buck. It totally degrades music in general. Really, by making a video it takes attention off of the actually music and allows musicans to down grade and mass produce shitty music just to make a dollar. That is why most music today consist of " I got bitches, and hoes, and moneys to spend on dem bitches and hoes!" Because in the video, its showing a bunch of bitches and hoes shaking their ass in a pile of money.

Not to mention, it's just like that song says, "video killed the radio star." With today's technology it doesn't even matter if you can sing. Caterwaul your way through twelve songs, have a computer program correct your pitch, make a sexy video, become a star and lipsynch all your concerts and TV appearances. All it takes is a pretty face.
