Good Songs with stories

I would like to know some good songs with stories why it was made or in the actually song. I know that alot of Bob Dylan's songs have some good stories in them, so just post a song or songs and what the song is about or why it was made.

I'll start with the song "Ohio" by Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young is a protest song about the Kent State shooting in 1970.

"Metropolis pt. 1:The Miracle and the Sleeper" by Dream Theater is a song about two brothers fighting over Rome's leadership... (Ok, this was my recollection. Intarweb says that "This story is based on the telepathically-linked characters Romulus and Remus from the Aeneid." So there ya go)

"Metropolis pt. 2: Scenes From a Memory" is a concept album by Dream Theatre that tells the story of a man that discovers the mystery of a young girls murder, this young girl being him in a past life. It's awesome.

These two are off the top of my head, cause I love 'em. If I think of any more I'll post them.

Hurricane - Bob Dylan
The story of Rubin Carter and his conviction.

Symphony X - The Odyssey
It's about the Odyssey, obviously... and is a fucking AMAZING 24 minute epic.

Symphony X - The Divine Wings of Tragedy
Another 20 minute epic about Paradise Lost/Regained.

Enslaved - 793 (The Battle of Lindisfarne)
Tells of the first viking raids on England in 793.

Iced Earth - Dante's Inferno
The Inferno by Dante in power/thrash metal epic form.

Bathory - One Rode to Asa Bay
Tells of the first Christians that came to Norway to convert (forcefully) the Norse men.

I know about a million awesome concept albums too.

Oh yeah, sure man! I love that Dream Theater album, it's fucking great. Anyway...

Symphony X - V: The New Mythology Suite
This one's probably the closest to Dream Theater. If you love Metropolis I think you'll ADORE this one.

Opeth - Still Life
This one's a bit heavier, with growling vocals and such, but it's also folky, acoustic and has beautiful clean vocals. It's really amazing progressive music. I urge you to check this one out even if you're a little skeptical. I found these guys right after I found Dream Theater and I fell in love with them.

Opeth - My Arms, Your Hearse
Same band, different concept album. I'd check the other one out first.

Ayreon - The Human Equation
I bought this album without ever hearing it and it's turned into one of my favorites of all-time. This actually has Dream Theater's vocalist as the main character in the story, so you'll be able to relate well. The story is a little cheesy but it's so incredible.

There's a few great ones.

Alive by Pearl Jam is pretty cool. but what's even better is what Eddie Veder had to say about the song as it progressed in concerts. VH1 did a story tellers with them, and just thinking about what was said gave me goose bumps. i dont wanna spoil it but anyone interested (especially pearl jam fans) should find out what was said.

Wings for Marie (Pt. 1) and 10,000 Days (Wings Pt. 2) by Tool is very interesting.

Blue by A Perfect Circle.
