I think everyone should check out the new Method Man album 4:21--The Day After. That's gotta be one of the best rap albums I've heard in awhile..he even states many times in supporting the legalization of marijuana.

yeah, i love the album.

The song say and konichiwa bitches are fire!

Actually theres not one song on that album that i couldnt listen to over and over.

Best rap album in the past 2-4 years imo.

Who the hell is Big L or AZ. And yes, it's a southern thing. Just like people up north would like Nas and jayZ as their favorite. Master P is the richest rapper of all. He sold tons of records back in the day.

i agree, commercial sales is a sign of quality but it really has nothing to do with the actual quality of an artist. if you hear an ok song and you buy the CD and you hate it, you still bought it and they have your money. btw this thread is titled "yo favorite ra artist of all time" so it doesnt matter if you like master p or vannilla ice. its all an oppinion

overall i have severall favorite rappers
-beastie boys- very influential
-jay z- dynasty
-cypress hill- for obvious reasons
-notorious BIG-
-tupac-

no one mentioned KRS ONE, MAJOR influence for sublime and modern day bands.
sublime even has a song titled KRS ONE
