smoking and usage

on the 28th of august I went to see Dave with 4 of my buddies, we had a box at the Hollywood Bowl (for free might I add) and we had decided months ahead that we were going to get a quad each and smoke it all during the three hours that they were on stage...after making it past the fucking pat down they were doing to everyone that walked in (which fucking sucked btw, cuz they made us pull all our shit out of our pockets and we had to crotch our pre-rolled joints)...anyway...we were worried about the people around us having a problem with us smoking herb and we didn't light up before the show...a teacher was sitting right next to my shoulder and she taught the grade we were going into, so we werent sure about her...a couple of about thirty who looked pretty clean were sitting next to us on the right, and two geeky looking guys were behind them (very goody goody looking)...behind us was a bunch of retardedly drunk 20 somethings so we knew we were cool with them, and to the left the people ended up coming half way through the show....so anyway were worried cuz we want to smoke, and had been looking forward to the over indulgence....so the lights go down and the crowd is cheering and we all have our first joint in our hands and were kinda looking around and not only do we smell the strongest wave of pot ever, but the couple next to us lights up, and the geeks behind them do too! So we all lough and light up...about halfway through the song the teacher behind me asks for a hit!

Anyway, the night was fucking amazing and I had to tell someone, cuz I've only been hanging out with the people who were with me that night. If you actually read all that thanks for the time.

yea bro i saw dmb in the begining of the summer and everyone was lighting up. me and my friend blazed during OAR (opening band) and when they played sublime right before DMB came on and countless times during the night. we both split an 1/8 which supprisingly lasted the whole night. lol but they didnt pat us down they just shot everyone a quick glance. do you think you could get past the pat-down if you bring a bowl but just keep in in your pocket? cause im going to see damian marley and ben harper here in baltimore next weekend.

damian marley and ben harper would be awesome to see...thats bad ass man...you'll probably want to crotch your bowl though...they made us take everything out of our pockets

its rare that they pat everyone down though...and it was pretty intense too...they pulled out the front of our waistbands and everything...it sucked cuz my friends joints fell down to his shoes...luckily he was wearing jeans though lol

yea dude thanks for the heads up. i hope they dont do that shit to me and my friends.
i guess i will crotch that shit. or walk up to the door and see how they are doing stuff and go back to my car and then decide what to do

i got patted down for a couting crowes and goo goo dolls concert and they found a wooden pipe and they made us put it back in our car. and we walked away and they asked us if we put it away and we said yes and they didnt search us again.

like I said...sequrity is different at each venue....but the idea of going up and checking it out first is good...they normally do the same pat down procedure on everyone...so just see where there patting and dont put your stuff there....crotching it is the way to go lol

behinde the belt buckel is the best just put your shirt over it and they feel it and you just say belt buckle.

thats a really good idea...we didn't know they were gonna do that shit untill we were there though...I didn't even have a belt on haha....next time though
