Fuck Techno.
Trance on the other hand is a fucking godsend.
Cosmic Gate - Some deep hardcore trance. Some great shit. The Wave, Melt to the Ocean, World in my Eyes... all good songs. Only song I found I don't like is Firewire, everything else seems to kick ass.
ATB - Probably one of my favorites. A very recognizable sound, with some of the most amazing lyrics. Let U Go is perhaps my favorite by ATB. The lyrics are simply amazing. But most of their lyrics are and the melody is phenominal. 9pm (till I come home) is the new one (I think)... well it's the one being circulated right now, another decent song. But there's a thousand more by him I like.
Schiller - Schiller is a touchy subject, because of a recent breakup, it's hard to listen to him. But he's phenominal. Get the entire album "Voyage" Fuck downloading it, it is worth buying. This is pure sex music. Oh how many times my ex and I would fuck to this... but beyond the beat, and beyond the sex, the music is amazing. Perfect for listening to while driving down the road at 11pm, windows down, no one on the road... you know? Those orgasmic moments. Well Schiller is right there with you. On one of my Trance Allstar compelations CD's, Schiller does a mix of ATB's Let U Go... let me say that is perhaps the single greatest song possible.
DJ Tiesto, big name... for a good reason. "Feel the Beat" is amazing. When the bass drops, and it feels as if the floor disappeared from under your feet, and the beat starts to come back... you'll be thanking me.
Darude - Sandstorm... I only mention this because it's like obligatory. hah
Ian Van Dahl - This is pop trance... it's very well known, but easy to grove to, and has some awesome songs. "Will I" is one
Sash (not Sasha, but Sash) Equador is a very awesome song. There are a few others. Some parts are techno-ie, but for themost part trance.
I have so much more, but it's time for me to get my groove on.
