Buddy and I paid for tickets, went after smoking copious amounts of grass, so we were certainly in the right mind set, not to mention really excited for what I, personally, expected to be a well written, well edited, and well directed paranormal horror movie. I thought it sucked. Horribly. I'm not sure even the two (more interesting sounding) alternative endings could breath life into that corpse. This isn't coming from the perspective of some guy going, 'Oh, it wasn't bloody enough', they definitely had a solid idea when they sat down to write the script, and could have taken this movie to psychologically disturbing extremes, particularly during a time where interest in the paranormal is at an all time high. It was simply poorly executed. Regardless, I wash my hands of this movie for good. ![]() Thanks to Paranormal Activity, I have sliiightly diminished, yet still pretty high expectations for 'The Fourth Kind'. I have learned my lesson about getting my hopes up with modern day horror movies, though... they don't exist. The classics have come and gone, and those days are long gone, my friends.
