Next on shopping list:
- 4 23 watt 6500k CFL
- 4 23 watt 2700k CFL
- self adhesive velcro
- Rockwool

the fan is currently not plugged in because the sound is too loud. I connected it to a battery charger and its only running to the one fan in the picture above. Will 2 fans lower the speed that they are spinning at? because its making alot of noise.

yeah its kinda cramped but im gonna have to work with it. If it ends up being a space issue I will probably start a new grow in soil instead cause the pots are smaller.

i grow BB micro. i've looked into many different containers. considering your space, you aren't going to need all the room that a 5 gal. bucket provides for roots. they also sell 3 gallon buckets. light penetrates through some that aren't all black. paint them white.. coat after coat after coat until no light shines through....

OR, wal mart also sells 3 gallon tupperware containers that are shorter than a 5 gal. which will give you more space to grow also.

organic MAY smoke a little better. but there is nothin like literally watching a plant grow. and grow, and grow... soil is a dreaded painfully slow process. especially if we are looking to provide for ourselves. single soil plants flower won't last until next harvest in soil. much better chance in hydro... look for the smaller container ;)

(right now i made a make-shift 2 liter coke bottle into a bubbling cloner :D )

bubbling possibilies are endless. just add water and air into literally ANY container, and the herb will grow.

Good luck! Obviously your gonna have space issues. But get ready to LST and start flowering early to conserve space. Rule of thumb is that it will roughly double in size during flower. Definitely going to keep watching.

Thanks for the kind words and advice! I wanted to do a Scrog but it may be difficult to empty the reservoir and change the water with a bubble bucket so i will probably lst + supercrop.

UPDATE:

So the seed took a while to sprout but it did! and so I moved it into its new home in rockwool and is currently under 2 27 watt cfl 6500k. I hand water it right now but when the roots show I will start up the bubble bucket. Here are pictures from today of my seedling and humidifier. Also heat seems to be a problem it is currently 80-85 degrees in there but the plant seems to be growing fine but I would still like to lower the temp a bit, any tips?

EDIT:

I have another 2 seedlings in there now(not shown in pic) I just couldn't toss em D: I thought they should have a chance to LIVE! but i'm focusing the light on the plant shown. The others may grow however.

pick up a 120mm axial comp fan from radio shack. wire it to an old phone charger. plug in. dropped my temps around 10 degrees. 84-89ish then down to 72-77.

i agree with you on the b/b res cleaning out problem under ScrOG screen. i'm 1-2 into flower and its basically impossible to clean it out. not flush it out. CLEAN it out.

next grow, i'm with you all the way. LST, again and supercrop.

The First 2 leaves have shown :D the plant seems to be growing fine despite the temprature of about 85 degrees(could be inaccurate ) and here is a picture of the two other seedlings I mentioned in my last post that I am giving a chance to grow however.

How moist are your rockwool cubs? Just damp or are they wet enough that when you lift them they're slightly dripping?

I'm germinating my seeds directly into rockwool. Been three 3 days. I would assume it may take awhile, like a week as yours did.

I just feel them every morning and night and if it is dry to the touch then I add water until moist but not so much that it is dripping. Also squeeze it and if it drips then its fine and does not need more water right now.

Hey your grow looks awesome man! Im thinking about a soil grow next even tho it may be messy just because it seems like soil wont need as much space, so I can add more lights :D

I just keep a vacuum cleaner in the other room haha. I've had no issues with mess at all tho. It just requires a bit more attention than hydro because there is no exact point to where the soil is dry and needs to be re-watered, you just have to pay attention to your plant for any signs of thirst.
