  2. These are pictures of the 2 weeks of veg under 2 150watt HPS lights.
These girls were topped one week before entering the 12/12 light cycle and the bottom 6 inchs were pruned once 10 days into the veg.

    Total Time:

    - 7 days cloning -
    - 7 days transition under tt96 watt tube -
    - 14 days heavy veg under 300 watts HPS -

  3. The net was used to stress the tops and encourage lower branch growth one day prior to topping. It helps everything catch up before the split in growth tips.

    :hello::hello:

  4. Slick setup bro. You should achieve a fairly high gram per watt ratio if all goes well.

    Good luck!

  5. :p These were taken after the first three weeks of flowering under the 400 watt HPS :p

They are drinking two to three gallons a day but as long as you can add water every day then it really isn't a problem!

:smoke: Two ways to do things in life; half-assed which produces half-assed results and the correct way which given time and fine tuning can produce results which are more satisfying. :smoke:

  6. :hello: Thanks man I hope so! :hello:

  7. Looks so fucking sweet! Is that DWC? And whats the table for? Do you drain it there? How many gallons and what kinda nutrients do you run? And finally, how does that net to stress the tops work?

Everything so neat and tidy :p I like it.

  8. Thanks Bro

 5 Gallon bottom reservoir. Add 2-3 gallons a day of nutrient water a day. I use Flora Nova Grow and Bloom plus Souls synthetics Amino Aide during heavy veg and Botanicare Hydroplex, Sweet Raw, and Silica Blast during heavy flower/second week to seventh week flower. Also I add 5 mL / gallon of 29% hydrogen peroxide at the end of each week to disinfect and aerate
It is a DWC system and the table made it easier to drain, i thought, but I just bought an inline pump to suck the water out and fill it up and it works a lot better.

As far as the stress works. my reasoning is that 24-48 hour period that the tops are bent tricks the plant into thinking they were topped. This makes the lower branches grow at an increased rate. Then when i do top them the lower branches already have a head start and the split at the top where the two new tops form doesn't stretch as far. That is my reasoning instead of a 'Y' shaped plant you get 6 or seven large tops coming off the main stem. It worked for me so I will probably do it again. Don't do it to weak plants it could kill them. It stresses the hell out of them!
This is how the mother turned out after she was flowered. Very 'Y' Shaped on purpose.

  9. I see what i think is one of the mothers in post #1. Looks like you LST it, how did that work out growth wise? Also how big in the container and what kind of soil and nutrients are you using?

I am starting on my first 3 mothers myself atm, two seedlings and one clone. Got any good tips to keep them short except taking clones often?

I have read up on the subject, just had to try and fish for some tips from you as well, seeing you blew me away with that crazy net thingy to bend the tops :p

  10. :devious: All right anon. First of all the mother was grown in a 3 gallon root bag (felt) with foxfarms Happy Frog soil. I figured this would be a good starter soil since it doesnt need fertilizer for a bout 6 weeks. I topped the mother after two weeks and then let the two main branches grow out to about 6 in. then i bent and tied them to a straight piece of pipe. This caused the smaller nodes to grow up. after two or three days I removed the pipe and let them straighten back out to about a 45 degree angle then i cut the 6 clones off of it. At this point the plant has used a lot of the nutrients in the soil so I figured I would flower it. It flowered normally just with two main colas and she yielded about 30 grams. Honestly if you want to keep it down to about a 2 foot plant do what I did but leave the pipe or chopsticks on the plant and keep it 'T' shaped and just keep topping it should stay under two feet tall for maybe 2 months but it really is a hard plant to keep small for any longer than that. Keep the light if theyre florescent within 6 inches of the top of the plant. Here are some pictures of what I did. Oh and the only fert I used was Hydroplex and barely any of it. :devious:

I'm here:) please keep updating(y) what do you plan to yield with this grow if you don't mind me asking?

  13. Alright guys this is day 1 of week 6 of flowering. Oh and I plan on yielding more than one. Sorry but I'm not able to just guess at the weight its a new setup for me. I can say that one branch up near the top of the plant usually gives me 24-36 grams if its over a foot above the canopy ;)
