vapolution
I read almost have the thread and havent seen the vapolution mentioned yet. It is by far the best vaporizer I have ever used. It has a temperature control and is the only glass on glass on on the market that I know of.
Beware of taking advice from people who say they heat their hits to 300-450 degrees. THC vaporizes at 200 degrees so if you are going any higher you are breathing in stuff you dont want nor need. Figured I would add my 2 cents. |

The best temperature range is a minimum of 110 degrees Celsius which is 230 Fahrenheit I usually turn mine to 165 Celsius to get the best results at 200 its just a waist and you wont get hardly anything but a mild weed taste Vaporizer Temperature for Marijuana Marijuana vaporises best between 140 degrees Celsius up to approx 300 degrees Celsius. The best temperature range is 110 degrees Celsius to 300 degrees Celsius. A different temperature gives you a different effect. http://thcvaporizer.com/ |

oops
I apologize I was talking celsius....
The vaporizer produced THC at a temperature of 185° C. (365° F.) while completely eliminating three measured toxins - benzene, a known carcinogen, plus toluene and naphthalene. Carbon monoxide and smoke tars were both qualitatively reduced by the vaporizer, but additional testing is needed to quantify the extent of the decrease. Although the study was not designed to detect the highly carcinogenic tars known as polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, which are thought to be a leading culprit in smoking-related cancers, there was good reason to believe that they were suppressed, since they normally form at much higher temperatures of combustion. When vaporized, the marijuana emitted a thin gray vapor and was left with a green to greenish-brown "toasted" appearance, whereas the combusted sample produced thick smoke and turned to ash. Significant amounts of benzene began to appear at temperatures of 200° C. (392° F), while combustion occurred around 230° (446°F) or above. Traces of THC were in evidence as low as 140° C. (284° F). Further details of the study will be published in a forthcoming issue of the Journal of Cannabis Therapeutics. http://www.canorml.org/healthfacts/vaporizerstudy1.html |

Wow i totally forgot about this thread i started almost 2 years ago. I got a Vapir, but beat it up and upgraded to Volcano. I havn't turned back yet. The vaporizers have saved my longs for the sports i love, and in the end saved me tons of money. I bought a quarter of GonzoX Sour Diesel about 6 months ago and I am just finishing it up, and boy does it taste good. Anyways there is no debate. Invest in a used volcano at least they will wow your friends. Muay

Howdy all!
Been readin this thread for about 8 months now and have now gone through about 6 different vaporizers, and thought i would chime in to share some of my experiences and thoughts on this matter. I would like to start with the conclusion (an odd method but will save you some time ![]() Since about two weeks since My first vaporizer purchase in November 07, i have been "smoke free" and have not gone back to traditional smoking methods. I feel way better in general and this has transfered into eating better and doing more physical activities on a daily basis. This has been the major benefit for me, however there are many more. I will make the analogy between vaporizers and electric razors. Both do the same thing as their counterparts but in slightly different ways with slightly different results. There is a definite break in time ( it took me about 2 weeks with vaporizers ) but if you are willing to stick with it you will not want to go back and be very pleased with the results. One of the BIGGEST factors for me was ensuring i was getting everything out of my herb. I was real concerned with my first vaporizer ( vapor bros. clone hands free whip ) in getting the most out of the bowls. I found it hard to tell if i had gone enough or too far. The BEST way for me to get over this was to learn to use the leftovers ( commonly refered to as duff ) for various extractions. I will get more into this later, but once you realize it does not matter if you dont use your herb enough in the vape because you can get better things from the leftovers, it becomes easier to let go of smoking. My next big hurdle was time vs concentration. I really enjoy the ritual act of smoking and a whip style vape can deliver a new ritual which is just as pleasing. However after learning to fully utilize the whip, i found it would often take almost an hour, with about 15-20 good pulls to complete my bowl. Now i would be good and high, but sometimes i cannot dedicate this amount of time, and sometimes i would want really massive hits which are pretty difficuly to pull off without burning your material. Initially i solved this through a glassware adapter that let me use my existing glass water piece with the whip as a vapor concentrator. This worked well but had the downside of too much aparatus (a pain to set up and break down) . This was eventually solved by a "bag type" unit. The bag delivers all the concentration you need to feel like youve smoked and does it rather quickly, i can fill two bags and be really done within 5 minutes. Be carefull here, though as a bag unit does not replace the smoking ritual for me. I sold my whip unit to buy a bag unit, and quickly purchased another whip unit as i missed the ritual and almost wanted to go back to smoking. Proper materials is a must. If you are going to vape then you will need a grinder. In all units i tried a grinder was a must. MORE SURFACE AREA = MORE VAPOR. You will also want to purchase the best quality herbs, the closer to "medical grade" the better. Higher quality herb = less vaping time and more vapor. Proper vaporizers is a must as i found i couldt quit smoking without a good whip and bag style unit. It is important to be able to switch up as with smoking their are joints and pipes and bongs, all for different moods. YOU DO NOT NEED TO SPEND OVER $300 on decent units. I will follow with a seperate post regading the units i have tried, and some good info on duff to butter ratios for cannabuter extraction. Thanks to all that have contributed to this thread! |

yo can you further explain the vapolution? Is there a fan? How easy is it to assemble/put away? Is it easy to load bowls or do you have to wait for the glass to cool down first? How is it with groups of 3 or more people? Does it seem durable? Is there a warranty and have you had any experiences with customer service? I'm asking cuz I want to buy a reliable vape for a friend. I already have an Aromed which I love but I'm not willing to throw down $400 for my buddy lol.

Got one of these for $85
I bought one of these off e-bay on sale for like $55 (the company site quotes @ $85 I think), I had my doubts on it, but it is very well made and reliable digital vaporizer.
The only real complaint that I have is the temp reading often runs a litlle higher than the actual temp IMO. To sum it up, its about the best bang I've found fore the buck, a good buy if your a vape fan. The website is: WWW.VAPORINCPRODUCTS.COM |
