Medical Card Question

Yo, I am currently in South Carolina, but next fall I will be going to college at SFSU (san fran state)

I was wondering, how possible will it be for me to get a card? I dont know how you go about going to a new doctor, I mean Ive had the same guy my whole life, what do I do once I get out there?

Once I do get a doctor, Im sure Ill be able to get recomended for a card because I have had a long history of headaches, and MJ always fixes me up.

I know its like 125 bucks for the actual card, but how much money will it cost me to get my regular doctor to recomend me for a card?

I saw on TV that you can look up a docter in the yellow pages that endorses Med cards. I think it was an oakland phonebook. I have no idea about prices.peace

its like 150 for the doc since ur gonna be in SF it will be easy to find 1, and there are alot right on the other side of the bay in oakland and berkley
