smoking and usage

Hi: I have been reading posts on grasscity. Maybe somebody can point me in a right direction.

I've not used marijuana since I was a college kid and that was 40 years ago! I had some last weekend. As a guy with multiple sclerosis, another spinal cord problem and intensely bad arthritis the marijuana was the best relief I've ever gotten. The usual painkillers, even prescription strenght do little for me.

I will ask my doctor for a recommendation. Who actually decides I am eligible if not my doctor? Where can I get it? Is it expensive like street price or higher? Are there cannabis clubs in the LA area? I read on this site of one but it was raided and closed last month. I don't get that.

As you can see I am highly interested but going in circles trying to find some basics of how to go about it. I registered here for information. Can anybody offer help?
