| Re: Can Dispensories have smoking/vaporizing lounges?
I've heard of these vapor lounges, but I cant seem to grasp how they would work, at least between the state law and the dispensery house rules.
Every Dispensery i have been to has given me a flyer my first visit that names off a few of the "House Rules", which are mainly common sense, at least to me.
No pictures, no using your phone, no weapons, be respectful to neighboring bussiness's or residential homes, do not have someone waiting in the car, etc. (Well, Im sure the car thing has to do with safety and security, as well as some legal issues with transporting and/or "sharing" your medicine with non-patients.)
Anyways, we have a law thats strictly forbids driving under the influence. So, unless you can kick it at the vapor lounge until you've sobered up (by police standards) you'd either need to call a friend or family member for ride (dispenseries dont like non-patient traffic even in the parking lot because it looks suspicious), call for a taxi, or walk home.
I guess that's all plausable, I'd just be worried about the 5-0 waiting out front for medicated patients to leave the lounge and bust them for driving under the influence, which, if I remember correctly, would justify them not only suspending your drivers license, but also taking away your medical marijuana privledges, and that doesnt even include your fines and sentencing for b reaking the law.
Quick quesdtion, how long after youve smoked do you have to wait to operate a vehicle and NOT be considered still medicated by a police officer? What guidelines would he have to use?
