Medical Marajuana Questions in Michigan - Help please

Hey all, I've been reading a lot here and on other sites about Michigan laws, and still have quite a few questions. I've been diagnosed with scoliosis a few years ago. I used to go to a chiropractor, but that can only help to a certain extent. It causes pain every day to sit or stand. I also have insomnia, and have previously prescribed Ambien for it, but as everyone here knows there is a better way to help pain and sleep disorders. Finally, I used to be on med's for anxiety, but stopped because it had too many negative side effects; but to my understanding Michigan doesn't recognize anxiety as a reason to receive MMJ.

Now what I'm confused about is the doctor's opinion note. Do I have to go to a doctor and get one or if I go to the THCF in Southfield, do they have doctors there making the opinions on the spot? If I need to go to a doctor separate from THCF does anyone have any recommendations? Or am I completely off in what I have to do? And finally, when I go in there, will they just look at me like a young kid (I'm almost 19), and tell me to get out?

Doctor notes (3), you must get 3 from your past, with in the last 3 years thay say something like, you have come in complaining of back pain, and the diagnosis and doctors opinion letters, MRI, CT scans and etc are worthless... All you need is 3 letter heads stating back pain basically, called a doctor notes, NOT RECORDS (key word there).
Notes.....

If you do not have 3, then create them by going and complaining more about your pain.

Scholiosis is also formed through the Drinking of FLOURINATED water...

Sodium Flouride is Rat Poison, Chlorine causes loopis... Do not ever drink any tap water again, this will help you immensly...
(you can look on the box of rat poision) The only ingrediant is Sodium Flouride, its in toothpaste also, Calcium flouride is ok in very small doses, sodium flouride is just poison, it does not help teeth and it does proven factually make teeth YELLOW...

Do you have any peer reviewed scientific studies to back up your claims about tap water or are you relying on pseudo science?

Thanks for the info. For these "letter heads" / "doctor notes", how are they acquired? Are these just part of the medical records I can get from the MD, or do I have to ask them to write a "note" stating that I came in such-long-ago and had issues with pain then? If so - whats the best way of getting the doctor to write them / asking the doctor for them?

Call them, say i need my doctor notes for the last 3 years that show my (symptoms of pain or whatever is your condition).

Get at least 3, this is all answered on the THCF website.

Check it all out there as it will be more accurate per the law them me (the stranger on the net), I suggest this to you, the site says that, but please do remmember, I am not giving you any such law advice.

Go to the site and read the laws, the Govt site also.
It states it all, I would say its best not to do what others are. do what the law allows you to do.

Know the law first, spend time finding the laws on google for your state.
The law also states the process for each state.

Well I know i suffer from what FLouride causes in the bones, since i switched to distilled and filtered water, my pain has gone down enough degree for me to know it is harming people, there are many studies all over the net in many forums, probally a million, so i am unsure what test process would be most convinving or not convincing to you.

Look on a box of dcon rat poison, look on a box of toothpaste (many toothpastes say right on it in HUGE letters) fortifide with SODIUM FLOURIDE.

Why would we ever want this in our system in any form in any small amount is my opinion, stop drinking it, you will see a change in your IQ for one, the most norticable, wow im smarter for drinking clean water, yeup....
Drink lots of filtered water, vast amounts and the body gets healthier.

If you mean a gov't supported study that they would give to the public and tell us they have been using this to manipulate us for how long? Thats not ever going to happen, heh.

If flouride makes your teeth white and healthy, tell me, are they pearly white?

Also, get your self a dollar store Dish Drying rack and hand clean the dishes for about 6 months, the drying rack will gather all this hardcore deposit looking stuff, on mine I can barely scrape it off, so imagine that in your tiny little blood vessles, Clogging it...

1 study shows, toothpaste saying, if you swallow any, go to the doc immediatly, yet there is the same amount of flouride in 8 ounces of water. heh..

Some places use higher amounts of chlorine and flouride, my dish rack thing is sick and its only like 9 months used, im going to post a video about this soon on the youtube site.

I found a doctors office that do MMJ evaluations, and called them today. I told them i have scoliosis. The most I've done for this is go to a chiropractor, and have been x-rayed and diagnosed by the chiropractor. As Michigan law states, chiropractor's cannot give the "OK" to sign the form for MMJ.

But this doctor's office I called said if I bring in the report of diagnosed scoliosis they can sign the the sheet recommending MMJ for me upon reviewing the scoliosis sheet, and a $200 fee. (The person who does these evaluations is an OD, which is good to sign in Michigan as far as I understand.) They also said if I don't qualify for some reason, they don't charge anything.

So once I get this recommendation from him, where do I go from there?

You need to send it to the state with a completed application form. If you qualify as low income (in Michigan all you need is to be on medicaid or food stamps) the license fee is $100 regular and $25 if low income. You can get all of the information on the state web site as well as a copy of the law. I suggest that you read the law many times and learn your rights and limits. Go to the Michigan Medical MJ site and find a local compassion club ....... they are very helpful.

Peer reviewed scientific study essentially means that the study is done using the scientific method and then subjected to criticism by other scientists. It does not get governmental approvement.

People making claims on internet forums do not count as studies dude.

You do realize that not all Fluoride is the same right? There are different Fluoride compounds, which have different toxicology levels.

Thanks everyone . I'm getting my records tomorrow afternoon and making an appointment to see the doc next week.

Does anyone know what the return address on the letter they send you in the mail says? (Is it labled MMMP?). And if its labled that - I'd rather save myself from an awkward conversation with my parents so is it possible to have the card mailed elsewhere, such a brothers house? (I'm living at home this year, commuting to college XD)

it comes in MMMP, if you registered with your bro's address and send the capital your bro's address, then it will get mailed at ur bro's

The recommendation should come from TCHF or whatever clinic you use. They will probably hand it to you at the end of the appointment. The MMMA card will come from the Michigan Department of Community Health. Your address you give them has to match your drivers license or other ID.
