True not for scoliosis alone, but the fact that my back is in constant pain from the moment I wake up till when I go to sleep. Sitting, standing, laying; they all hurt. Mj does help back pain like no other.

Does it have to match the ID, because on the MMMP application, it just asks for mailing address, not home address. So hypothetically if I owned a P.O. box could i have it sent there? And if so, why not another address that would be my 'mailing' address?

I guess you could try the whole sending it to your brother thing. The worst that might happen is that you get delayed a bit.

You should not have a prob with your constant pain if it is well documented. I would recommend talking to you regular doctor about getting the recommendation. The worst he can say is no. If he says yes you save $200 and save it every year hereafter.

i think the 200 bucks isa one time thing at the clinic. you pay 100 bucks to the state for your card. so im assuming you renew it by paying the state 100 bones each year. not the clinics 200 to write you the note.

You're right. Every year you pay the $100 renewal fee, not the one time $200 clinic fee for the recommendation.

I'm going into the clinic tomorrow, and submitting my papers to the State of Michigan right after. Wish me luck

Michigan Department of Community Health wants a fresh recommendation every year. So you will end up paying the pot doctor or someone for the services. If you can get your regular doctor on board then it will probably cost less than $200 and could be just part of a regular check up or office visit.

If you are on medicaid, social security or welfare you only pay the state $25. The pot clinics offer lower rates also for low income.

Well I got my rec today . The doctor was very nice and helpful. Submitted all my paperwork and paid all the fee's. Now its time to wait for the card to come. Thanks everyone for the help
