Information on MMJ and Sleep Apnea

I was wondering if anyone was aware of a study that could show MMJ helps with Sleep Apnea.
I have Sleep Apnea and honestly it sucks no matter how much I sleep I am constantly tired
But I find when I smoke some weed before bed I don't wake up at all while I'm asleep and I wake up feeling much more energized than without weed.
I was put on a breathing machine and it didn't really do much so I figured I might as well try some Cannabis to help em out and it worked.
So I was wondering if anyone had some type of study or something?
Im thinking of approaching the doctors I see for dealing with it but I'm kinda afraid of what they may say. so I may try it without their knowing if I can't find any studies or anything.

Cannabis Helps With Sleep Apnea, Functional role for cannabinoids in respiratory stability during sleep.

Just a quick google search for "Sleep Apnea MMJ" returned that study with rats. I know someone that suffers from sleep apnea and also uses a CPAP machine so its vary interesting to me. The results seem to be faverable and back up your claim. In fact I wouldn't have thought it would have had such a marked effect on the apnea itself. I would have been wrong, which is why I aint a doctor I suppose.

But it will ultimately be up to the state you live in. Either way I wish you the best of luck.
