Well that's worse, cities have been known to do things that are very self rightous. Like publish names of "Johns" the local paper. Could you imagine if the police decide to print all the names of patients or "drug addicts" as the Long Beach City Prosecutor likes to refer to them as. He is in cahoots with the LA guys. Yeah the DAs took a SHITLOAD of heat for the meeting yesterday, one of the attendees who knew some of the protesters was surprised they were there because they aren't targeting the "good" clubs who follow the laws. Which IS NOT what they said they were doing. They said they were going after any club that does a cash-over-the-counter business, because according to them that's not authorized by Prop 215 or SB 420 (which is kind of iffy if you ask me). California District Attorney Jerry Brown's guidelines clearly state that cash businesses are legal under the guidelines as long as the collective is truly organized as a non-profit in a collective type agreement. Apparently Brown's office is also in contact with Cooley and Trutanich as well.

Don't jump to too many conclusions here, and definitely don't do anything drastic. If your club isn't a member of GLACA, then I would find yourself a club that is a member, other than that there isnt' much you need to worry about as a Patient.

| Re: Bad news for Los Angeles.......... You can surly make a request, but I don't think I'd call it a "right". They can honor your request, or not. If you no longer want to visit them, I don't see any reason why they wouldn't honor your request to be taken off their database, but..............if you have a recommendation, you are surely on someone else's database.
