Greatful Meds in Nederland.
Great selection, sometimes 30 buds to choose from. They have clones but should always call ahead to check for quality.
The prices are spot on, 50/8th, or 15/16 per gram. They weigh properly also, they account for stems.
They have edibles and all other kinds of goodies including tinctures, pipes, books shirts and stickers.
Their customer service leaves quite a bit to desire. Overall a good dispensary.

Re: Colorado Dispensary Reviews

I've been to see Dr. Hatch in Highlands Ranch who is a great guy who seems to be somewhat knowledgeable about his strains. He's a funny guy who is great to do business with. However, sometimes his strains can be as expensive, as much as 70 an eighth for bud that looks and smells like it should be more in the 60 range (mr. nice guy, sour diesel) of course thats just my opinion. His clones seemed to be pretty expensive as well starting at $30 and not looking too healthy. The edibles have been pretty weak thus far as well. His tincure seemed to work ok though.

Green Mountain (I think thats it's name)
This was somewhere near 17th and kipling in Denver err englewood? In anycase, it was a couple of months ago when I went and decided not to go again. They were calling one of their strain jack herrer but it looked like bud that had been grown only under floresence maybe. Very sparse and fluffy like you only see when something goes wrong. He had it in the tall mason jar but the bud that was inside may have only accumulated to about an ounce. I swear the other kind of bud he had that had a name that included skunk but looked like shwag. I almost remember seeing a corner chunk of bud, you know like when its in a brick? That was hard for me to say, sorry and remember, its just my opinion.

Peace in Medicine
First of all, who is making enough money off of the poorest of poor people in downtown Denver to be able to drive a new Vet? Thats fucked in my opinon. There bud was good, the volcano and pool table are cool and the bud ranges. $9 for an edible that isn't that strong is ridiculouse though. This place is always reliable but needs to be open later and on weekends. $20 clones aren't bad either.

Re: Colorado Dispensary Reviews

Thus far T.H.C. (The Health Center) is my favorite. They have good strains, decent prices, good service, and they have this super intense magnifying system set up on a computer so you can check the bud for quality and actually see the crystals. Not a massive selection, but it changes frequently.

Re: Colorado Dispensary Reviews

Favorite so far has been Stone Mountain in Longmont. The service is unbeatable and the edibles and strains are -strong- and gourmet-quality (as they call them "top shelf, rare genetics"). You are seen by appointment only, so you have to plan ahead a bit; they are not some place you can just walk into any time at the last minute. That said, however, when you are seen, you are greeted at the door escorted to a private showing room where you'll be speaking with a true expert on weedlore and a prominent well-respected local advocate of MM. Almost all of their strains are completely organic, hormone free, selected for quality not yield and grown by a USDA certified organic farmer at 6000 feet ( they sometimes do have an 'outdoor' grown strain that they sell to people who use their product for baking or just want to save money, etc.--it's a little cheaper). Their edibles are made using marijuana-infused cocoa butter by a professional chef in a commercial kitchen and are of exceptionally high quality and potency. One of their chocolate chip or chocolate macadamia nut cookies ($4) contains, as it is very professionally labeled, "two strong doses"...and let me tell you they mean it! I ate a whole cookie at once the first time; big mistake...that was about as high as I've ever been and I've been smoking pretty regularly for about 20 years now. Now I eat half a cookie for a good strong long-lasting high and a quarter for about a 4-hour moderate high. They also sell brownies (delicious! 3 doses each. $7), banana chocolate-chip bread (5 doses,$10), chocolate cupcakes ($5, 3 doses), etc. If you allow them to be your caregiver, you get a deep discount on prices, but for the quality of bud you get, the non-member prices are really well worth it (member/non-member: Gram $13-$16/$18-$20 Oz:$350/$450). They cut the stems out of every purchase.

This place is amazing. 5 thumbs up!

Strains I recommend:
Sour Diesel
Tangerine Haze (amazing and strong citrus haze...psychedelic)
Blue (awesome 80/20, mostly indica...very very relaxing)
Black Domina (EXTREMELY relaxing indica. amazing.)
San Fernando Valley (SFV) OG Kush
Golden Goat

Their contact info is here:

Re: Colorado Dispensary Reviews

Great thread guys. I just got my Card here in Colorado and have only been to 1, so I will review that for contribution.

The Kind Room

My first experience with medical marijuana has been a friendly one with these guys. Some good Top Shelf bud with a great selection of Edibles, Tinctures, and concentrates. It seems these guys have been doing this for a couple of years and know how to do it well.

I talked with some of the people there and they suggested some strains that would help me with my Chronic Nausea. From what I've been told, most dispensaries seem to sell in 3.5 G's or above, but the Kind Room offers 1/16 bags for you to try many varieties of nugget.

My only negative experience with the kind room was the edibles. I ate two of their rice crispy treats and didn't even catch a buzz... That's alright though, because they were both given to me for free.

I'd recommend them myself, but I need to scope out a few new places to get an educated opinion.

Strains I recommend
Bubblegum
Willie Nelson
Amnesia Haze
Sweet Sativa

Sick Re: Colorado Dispensary Reviews

I was just in Herbal Medix today just off I-25 and Hwy 119 Exit 240 in longmont it was a nice location just off the highway so on my way home from work I can just drop in and get back to my drive .
They had I good selection and the prices are some of the best I have scene $13-$20 per GM .
Top self is some really high end meds. The Edibles are delicious and potent!! Check those guys out you won’t be disappointed at all.
First time paper work is a little long but its only one time and at least they are doing what the health department & DA. Wants their keeping it legit .

TheStrainMan Dispensary Review: The High Country (THC) in Nederland-Rollinsville

I just found the most kick-ass care-giver service in the Nederland area called the High Country (THC). $320 oz's/$45 eighths of everything. Primary patients pay $300/$40. 1000 rooted clones at $15 each. Over 50 strains!!!! mostly organic. They supply most every other care-giver in the area except for One Brown Mouse, which is simply legendary (albeit pricey) in quality. If I'm ever skiing up there, there is no way I'd stop anywhere else cause they are the cheapest and have the absolute lowest prices in Colorado I've seen.

Chek out the review:

Oh and one more thing: MENTION THESTRAINMAN AND RECEIVE A FREE GRAM OF MEDS OR FREE CLONE with purchase!!!!

Cloudland Caregivers
Nederland,CO

cloudlandcg@gmail.com

got a few heirloom Bluberry & Grape Ape clones, immaculately healthful & well rooted.
prob be around for a week or so. be in touch if interested. CO mmj patients only please.

my thoughts on Colo dispensaries, i stick to Boulder/Ned for the most part, everywhere's got their pros and cons. i like Grateful Meds myself, great atmosphere, honest business, community based attitudes and Mark is a great guy. overall, the dispensaries in the mountains seem a little less structured, but more involved (with the cannabis movement) and more personal, the boulder dispensaries seem a bit cold and a little too profit oriented. i could go on but i won't.

on the whole, everyone is going to have different pereferences as to how and where they procure their medicine from, words can't do what an experience can, visit the place for yourself, eventually we all fall in with our favorite place or group/community that we seem to resonate with. there as many different kinds of cannabis users as there are people.

live up.

Re: Colorado Dispensary Reviews

High Grade Alternatives
Boulder, Co

I actually decided to check these guys out on my lunch break, they are right around the corner from where I work and I'm sure glad I took the time to stop by. These guys are pretty quick and I had virtually no wait time. They had an awesome selection of strains at a great price. Their afgooey was some of the best I've seen and was only 16 a gram, they also had some spectacular homegrown cheese for 15 a gram. They also had hash at an excellent price and for those of you on a budget their 13 dollar a gram buds are comparable to nugs for 20 at other places. Clone selection was amazing as well. These guys do it right and I know I'll definately be back frequently.

New Options Wellness
Boulder, Co

I saw Tom for the first time today at New Options Wellness. The place was pretty nice and Tom seemed to really enjoy his business and working with patients. I was slightly disappointed in the quality that was offered but the bud was indeed nice and prices were fairly competetive. Tom offers member prices which are slightly better than nonmember prices, but he also has other incentives like a cool bubbler and vaporizer program. All in all, I enjoyed this place, they really strived to make me happy. This place definately has some great potential, I'd recommend the Sour diesel hash and the Blueberry... GREAT STUFF.

Re: Colorado Dispensary Reviews

I just came from visiting Tree Line Premier Dispensary in Eagle-Vail Colorado right above Paddy's Bar on Highway 6 & 24. This dispensary has extremely knowledgeable staff and excellent quality medicine. Huge variety and the staff can not only tell you the name of the strain, but also the strains history, whether its indica or sativa dominant, and what ailments it will best treat. I would highly recommend this dispensary if you are in the Vail, CO area and need to re-up on your meds. Dave is one of the friendliest people i have ever met and so intelligent and knowledgeable in this field.
