cancelled due to budget deliberations:

legislative hearings on hb 1393 house majority policy committee
previously set for september 2
will be rescheduled in september or october

When I get home I am most deff writing a letter!

For everyone that says it will never happen, hey it might not. But please, take a little bit of your time (30 mins tops?) and send in your thoughts. What is the worst that could happen? Think of the rewards it could yeild..

But we need asmany voices as we can possibly get.

ok since the hearing is postponed here is what we need to do

we have to get our fellow PA peeps to

1. Send in written testimony by email or mail

2. call there local reps

3. call some of members of the COMMITTEE ON HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICES

4. philly norml could use some donations there the ones who came up with and got this bill going

How'd this go? I saw on the news about the one before this one, i forget where it was, it didn't seem like people took that one too greatly. Especially all the assholes commenting on the story from their computer.

In the past, we've asked you to donate money, call your elected officials, and write letters to the editor of your local newspapers. What we need now is your time and energy, to help us spread the word about PhillyNORML, Pennsylvanians for Medical Marijuana, and HB 1393. Right now, with the PA Assembly bogged down with the budget, we have an opportunity to raise a lot of awareness.

Linked here is a flyer that we need people to put up everywhere in the state. Please, print a bunch of these up, and put them wherever you can in your community - post them in cafés, on bulletin boards, on telephone poles, in your workplace, in your apartment complex, your synagogue or church, and anywhere else that allows it.

You can download the flyer from our website. Thank you for helping us spread the word in your community. It is a necessary step to bring the debate to every town in PA, and this will do exactly that.
