I can't believe you live in socal and don't know how easy it is to get a doc rec. You go to any one of dozens of legit MMJ docs who charge nothing if you don't get a rec. They can do this because EVERYONE gets a rec. They will lead you through the process, just like they do for hundreds of perfectly healthy kids every single day.

Do you seriously live in LA and not know this, have no friends with cards? Hard to believe.

Just go bro and get your rec.

LEGIT DOCTER IS THROWN AROUND TO LOOSELY! can u provide a link or two to a legit docter. i called to get my records sent to me today so i would assume it takes a week or so. so please provide legit docter links casue i have the time and want to get my card and be chillen not get denied then possibly not have a shot at gettin one with a second rec

You won't be denied. You don't need any documents. You could go to 10 different MMJ doctors in a single day and nobody would know or care. Your perception of reality is a bit off kilter bro. Just go out and get your rec and hit the clubs.

although im twnety call me old fashion!! beter safe than sorry mama always says! so like i mentioned above i sent in today for my records should take about a week to receive if u wanted you could throw me a "trusted" mm doc website or somethign and i would be more than happy to oblige your train of thought!

While this may be true, recommendations from shady doctors really aren't worth the paper they're printed upon. Docs who do nothing more than take your money and write you a recommendation are being busted left and right. It's always better to back yourself up with real medical documents that have your specific condition in them. That way IF you get busted and have to go to court, when your doctor arrives to verify your condition you will be exonerated. Tell me that shady docs who don't do a thorough exam and simply give out paper in exchange for money will do this.

ADDITIONALLY - it's really bad to post about this kind of thing in an open/public forum. The DEA and LEO are READING these forums. Additionally MMJ opponents can read them too, and in other states where there isn't MMJ, opponents use the ease of getting a recommendation though shady doctors and fraud as their number one concern for not allowing MMJ in their states.

So yes, it may be easy for YOU to get a card in California, but SHUT THE FUCK UP about it.

Some have told me that you need medical records before you see a doctor that will give you a referral and some have said to just go to a mmj doctor that will give me the referral without records. I don't have any health insurance so I can't obtain any current records. Anyone here successfully gotten a card without medical records?

you just hicjacked my thread use the god damn search button! like i posted before walks with wind boy asked a retarted question! i got my medical records comin but dont have actual medical insurance at the moment is this a problem i juss read one particular website that said it was?

Sorry for asking the same exact question that you did. I didn't even realize that until now.It's my first post on this forum man. I've never even used a forum before. I read through the thread and no one really had a distinct answer so I was trying to obtain some knowledge. I really think cannabis can help me out, but its hard to decifer what is true and what is not. I've heard so many different stories from ppl that its starting to confuse me.

The doctor isn't interested in your medical records or lack of insurance. You could be Michael Phelps wearing your Olympic suit and gold medals, but as long as you checked off a medical condition on the form and signed it you will get a reco.

niice. I also found out that I'm getting medi-cal after my wife's baby is born, so I guess I'll wait until then so I can have medical records too just for some piece of mind. It's only a week or two away from being here I was doing some research online and found a clinic near me that gives discounts for evaluations to people that bring in medi-cal cards so thats awesome news for me too. I didnt know that clinics gave discounts for anything.

I would suggest finding a doctor that requires documents for your condition. My friend went to an 'in and out' doctor without evidence for his condition. While he still has his card, receptionists at clubs have told him that he 'needs to look for a new doctor because that one is under investigation'.

If you live in socal, seriously, the best way to go is 'cannarec' in Van Nuys. Legit doctor who needs records, cheap evaluation ($65).

the clinic I looked at looks pretty legit. I havnt seen it in person yet but the organization seems good. I live in Stanislaus county so there arnt a whole lot of places to go around her. I guess I'll find out when I go there. I'm definetly going to get some medical records first before I go.
