As to the topic at hand.

YES, there have been DEA raids on CA Dispensaries after the AG's Statement regarding DEA Raids. They were performed without the knowledge and consent of the President, and approved by the INTERIUM head of the DEA, a woman who doesn't care one iota about becoming the permanent head because she's a lame-duck.

Those raids were conducted merely days after the statement, and there has not been any DEA action against California dispensaries that was not a direct request of Local Law Enforcement in accordance with Due-Process and California State Laws that were being alledgedly violated.

For those of you who are completely paranoid about the government, you need to remember some words from the Declaration of Independence - "A government of the people, by the people and for the people". The government is not some monolithic impenetrable organization made of up a privileged few who rule the rest of us like a dictatorship, no matter what you actually believe. You have a say in your government, you can vote, you can affect change, and you can help govern. If you choose not to get involved, you have no valid reason for complaint.

We already have two threads on those indcidents, and in both threads, it's pointed out very clearly that the Feds were there at the request of local LEO's who were investigating the OWNER of both dispensaries. The DeA Smash and Grab jobs are over.

So, If I understand correctly, the government now just needs some reason to raid dispensaries such as a local cop saying they're doing bad stuff. I really can't believe that people on this forum are letting the administration wiggle out of this one. Did anyone raid any of Obama's buddies when they didn't pay their taxes? A loaded gun in a dispensary? Are they not the new target for violent criminals? Some banks still have armed guards. The president has armed guards 24/7. The main thing is why are they being charged with drug crimes? Just charge them with tax evasion or weapons smuggling if that is the problem.

The DEA is so crooked I just assume that whatever they say is a lie. These are the people who decided that they would like to make a career out of telling you what you can put in your body.

You got it right. But the left has been making excuses for Obama since he got in and started walking back EVERY promise he made. Why that is, I do not know. I'm as far left as you can get which is why this angers me. My friends just sit around and peddle excuses. Wierd.
