Ah yes. There is a lot of anecdotal 'evidence' about this panacea. It seems to skim over the fact that 'cancer' is in reality a host of different diseases with different causes and cures. Cannabis can certainly help cancer patients, and yes more research needs to be done into the properties of cannabinoids that seem to affect many sorts of malignant growth, but claiming it as a cure all or saying it's some magical cure for cancer is just plain irresponsible. It's starting to border on zealotry.

Yeah, that aspect gave me a really hard time with it. I really wanted to show this to my mother, but i decided against it.

People like the OP are being grossly irresponsible by giving people false hope. I'm the first to tout the many benefits of cannabis, but it's not some magical cure-all and it does NOT cure cancer. There is evidence that it can help kill some types of tumors but it's hardly a magical cure.

I should have said cancers...
but chances are if u have it it might help you...in this video the oil helped several different types of cancers stretching from skin, lung, others...

i have had several ppl in my family die from cancer, as many probly have, its becoming more and more prevalent, but the options many doctors give is a long shot at best, and is no solution only painkillers, poison, and time to grieve...they dont even offer hope they actually depress the patient with the prognosis of their fading mortality...so being that canna seeds hold every essential vitamin needed for a nutritious diet, i would say this guy is worth at least hearing out...big pharma stands to lose billions if a cure for cancer is "discovered"...so dont look 2 them or the FDA for ur cure anytime soon...
this guy has nothing to gain from deceiving ppl, especially when he doesnt sell it...

No, zealots. That's what all of these posts that keep cropping up making blanket claims amount to. Zealotry. I wasn't even talking about the video, but the erroneous and misleading thread title. Cannabis oil does NOT cure cancer and yes it IS grossly irresponsible to give false hope to people who may be feeling desperate.

Totally agree with OSG here. For almost every controversial issue there is propaganda on both sides of the argument but you never hear the real truth because they are too busy spinning it into something esle. Drives me bonkers.

If the topic were 'cannabis may help with some types of cancer' I would feel differently about it. Far, far more research is needed.

I can cite anecdotal evidence that people have cured their cancer using visualization therapy too. That doesn't mean visualization therapy cures cancer.

yes exactly! Plus how many people read the thread title then repeat that as fact without looking into it themselves...it goes on and on. Even though posting with thread titles like this could have unintended results, I don't think the Op was trying to be malicious.

I didn't say HE wasn't helped by it. That does not extend to the statement that cannabis oil cures cancer.

Rather than bicker, why don't we all just wait for the results to come in? If Mr. Simpson's oil is what he says it is, well, some doctors should have a nice paper or two published in the next few months- I keep hearing the anecdotal stories that "a study will be out soon". So can we act like adults in the meantime? This thread could all too easily end up being locked because the emotions got out of hand. Without a study in hand, we are all just "blowing smoke" here!
