Is there a medical marijuana for paranoid schizophrenia?

dude why don't you look at a couple of the stickies or do a search. I don't understand why every post in MMJ is "how do i get a card" "can i get a card for this"... all of these questions have been answered in a hundred different threads, just look instead of being so lazy.

i believe marijuana can adversely affect schizophrenia

since it can cause paranoia and schizophreniacs already have that

I'm not a doctor nor am I authorized to give medical advice, but I'm going to agree with the poster above me (that_kush_lover)

I could swear my last batch gave me a case of mild psychosis. But it could have been a number of other factors.

There has been some suspect "research" that claims that cannabis causes schizophrenia. I do not believe that. I do know that some strains of cannabis can cause panic attacks.

I have a friend with this disease - he likes indica's. Sativas can upset him. MMJ helps him to deal with anxiety related to his condition. It also helps him to sleep.

I am a paranoid schizophrenic with a horrible past i have tried many kinds of anti-psychotics the one im "on" currently is seroquel which i take 700mg at bed time
i feel really drowsy and have had times where i felt my body was gonna shut down
I was told by my doctor that marijuana would make things worse, but i have found it makes it way better i notice no difference in the amount of hullucinations but i can take them a lot better when im high and dont get paranoid
i would like to talk to you personally and do self studies because the side effects are way better then the meds they give you

There is information under Granny Storm Crows list, there is also information on a new drug that uses the CBD in cannabis to control schizopherenia. As a bipolar sufferer, I am placed on the same 'antipsychotics' as a schzopherenic namely Respiridone (also used to combat senility, need I say more...) and abilify. There is plenty of research on the net as to the benefits of MMJ. Id just stay away from sativa strains as they give me huge paranoia, and anxiety attacks...do some research off of my threads.

Cannabis can actually onset schizo, not help it.

My family has a history of mental issues, one of them being schizophrenia. Sometimes after smoking I "see" things, though its very specific in what I "see" and where i "see" it. My mom actually stopped smoking (when she was around 20) because of how paranoid and the stuff she was also "seeing."

However, one can get over it, as I did by telling myself nothing is there and im freaking out. It legitimatly WOULD scare me though, like I would be scared to go downstairs to my room because of something my brain would see in the window on the way down.
