you could try writing the Senate President...I wrote two of my assemblymen last week, and they have yet to get back to me so don't expect a swift response.

This is interesting. I live about 30 miles from New Jersey right now, although I'll be going to college in Texas next year. My mom also lives in New Jersey (Springfield.) I'll admit I don't have any outstanding medical problems like MS, cancer, or anything like that. I've only ever been prescribed a handful of medications in my lifetime because I've always had a good immune system. So from reading the article, it sounds like they're going to be a lot more conservative about it then California, where anyone can claim they have migraines and get a prescription.

My mom has all sorts of sleep and depression problems though. She tried it once. She was hitting out of a small hookah and she proceeded to puke her brains out. Maybe she can give it another go.
