Right now I have my hopes up for this bill to pass. A six to one vote from the senate? That is really good, almost all of the majority voted on it. Just hoping for the Senate Pres to follow in whats good for the country

WOW, usually NJ is one of the more strickter states when it comes MJ and MJ laws so this is deffinitely news to me. If this is true, I should have no problem getting a card, I have mild scoliosis in my back and a curve in my upper spine. Marijuana would be easier to get then ever, lets keep our fingers crossed and just wait for updates

Have any of you contacted your senators to tell them how you feel about this possibility and what is needed in the new law? (state reciprocity, numbers of plants and ounces, dispensaries, seed/clone exchanges, define caretaker, co-op,- all that jazz!) Every politician has a web site with email!

Why haven't you contacted them?

Agreed. Find your local Senate and Assembly representative, and let them know how many people there are out there that want this passed. I'm going to e-mail Jim Whelan, 2nd district rep, and ask him what his view on this bill is. Will reply with his reply.

I almost wish the papers would leave this off the front page. It seems like all of the publicity and attention always attracts people who are against the cause, and never works out for the better.
