Re: Granny Storm Crow's List-

This needs to be stickied NOW!!!!

I have a MMJ Card in the state of Oregon for permanent damage to the Mandibular and Lingual nerves after the surgical removal of a large Odontogenic Keratocyst, a large portion of my lower mandible, and two affected teeth. Without MJ, my lower lip and teeth feel like they are in a vice and being prodded with thousands of needles. All day.

OKC's have a 70% chance of recurrence as well, and after 4 years it has not returned. I am a firm believer that cannabis has fought/is fighting the recurring tumor off!

Re: Granny Storm Crow's List-

VC, have you looked at Rick Simpson's video? I did a transcript of it partly because I hadn't seen one on the net and partly because I am about 1 semester from a degree in psychology. I watched their "microexpressions" as I transcribed. They believe it works. (Stop action is an excellent tool for psychologists.)

Me? I have to see a couple of medical study results, but considering the length of the "cannabis vs cancer" section, it would seem logical that it should affect at least some varieties of tumors- but logic doesn't always apply in biology/medicine.

Heck- even if it works in only 1 in 10 tumors, it should be the first line treatment. Non-toxic, cheap, simple!

Some things to consider-
BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN MAKING IT! You don't want a fire or a case of poisoning from the toxic fumes!

Making it is a disaster, ecologically! (see below)

Wanna be rich? The day it is legal in your state, here is a chance for some bright college students to get in on the "ground floor". You need some basic chemistry equipment and knowledge, a small fume recapture system (check ebay?), an organic farmer and a bag of "named" seeds. Just make a good product, be honest and charge a fair price- you may get rich while helping folks and also stay remarkably high as part of your "testing program" (lol). I would also REALLY look into a very high CBD level cannabis version of the oil. Read the list for what it's good for.

If, for whatever reason, I can't work in education ,- well, gardening is fun and I know my way around a lab (bio lab aide in high school, and then twice again in college- about 30 years apart! ) Sad truth is- 1 in 3 of us will have cancer sometime in our lives. There will be a market for the oil, legal or not.

Sick MRSA Update! Important info!

Normally I would wait for New Year's to do an update, but this can't wait! This is about MRSA- that hard to kill, flesh-eating bacteria. I want you guys to read these- most are plain old news articles, so you won't have to wade through "ten syllable" scientific jargon. Then please send them where they can do some good- your doctors, newscasters, and schools.

New medical uses found for marijuana
http://media.www.dailyfreepress.com/...-3435667.shtml

There have been several deaths recently due to MRSA. One of the latest was 17 year old Saalem Jones, a high school senior who played football. He was young, healthy, in great condition, and as a high school athlete, likely drug free. By all rights, he should have lived a long and normal life.

Local High School Student Dies From MRSA
PHILADELPHIA (CBS 3) ― A Philadelphia public high school student died earlier this week of a confirmed case of MRSA, the school district announced.

Saalen Jones, a senior at Martin Luther King High, passed away Tuesday at Albert Einstein Medical Center.

Jones, 17, was a cornerback for the Martin Luther King football team. It was not immediately known how Jones was exposed to the bacteria......

In light of the studies.......

Could all of you (in the Phili area, especially), send those studies and articles where you think they could do some good? School coaches, reporters, doctors, etc. That poor kid shouldn't have died.

I keep wondering, would the early use of a strong cannabis salve have stopped the bacteria? Was Saalen a bit of collateral damage in the War on Drugs, because of lack research? Here we have something that apparently stops MRSA in it's tracks! How many of you heard about this? I'm willing to bet, very few of you! If it had been any other herb, it would be front page news! Our government won't let us use cannabis, or even hear good about it! How wrong can you get?

Rest in Peace, Saalen.

Thumbs up Re: Granny Storm Crow's List-

Silent, it's getting bigger every few days! More and more studies are coming out! I've added at least another page or two since I posted the list here. The Master list is also a good site to show others- it's my own current list, mirrored at the "innocent" site in the bottom link. And in case you're interested, there is a MMJ T- shirt contest going on there now. Supposed to be a monthly thing.

Re: Granny Storm Crow's List-

This is, by far, one of the best posts on this entire forum!

Personally the migraine/headache section was extremely helpful!

THANK YOU!

Smile Re: Granny Storm Crow's List-

Glad I could help! I, too, suffer from migraines- ain't they the bitch! My migraines were what set me off on this merry little trip of being "Granny" and making the list.

And I don't know what it is with this site! It is the ONLY place that the list isn't stickied! I guess I'll just have to keep bumping it now and then! It needs to be seen by everyone!

Re: Granny Storm Crow's List-

Awesome list, Granny.

Hopefully you'll get your rightfully deserved sticky soon. I haven't seen much in my year of posting that deserves a sticky more than this.

Keep 'a smokin', Granny.
