you're just mixing up the word "Crohn's" (not Chrons) with "chronic" as in chronic pain

though both sufferers of Crohn's and chronic pain enjoy smoking the chronic - it's confusing I know

I believe they make pills which consist of the male leaves. Or you could make a tincture of male leaves. There is going to be a commercial product in the next couple of years (its in clinical trials) but it will probably cost too much, like other cannabis derived drugs.

is th " ' " that important? i mean i dislike having to put a apostrophe anywere (like i say didnt as apossed to diddn't...see?) is there a big differece between "crohns" and "chron's" i had chron's all my life (since the end on 3rd grade) and i never spelt it with a apostrophe...is "chrons" something completly different?

For what it's worth, I had severe shoulder pains (and other pains) throughout my body due to my crohn's. I was in a car accident right before I got diagnosed with Crohn's and the inflammation that the car crash caused in my body seemed to trigger the onset of a huge flare that refused to go away until I went on Remicade. It seems to do strange things to one's joints, and any malady of the joints I certainly would not rule out Crohn's involvement. I doubt it caused the shoulder problem, but the inflammatory cycle thereabouts sounds similar to what I experienced with my car accident and the onset of my Crohn's shortly thereafter.

Well, it's not the apostrophe. It's the way you actually spell the word. The digestive disorder is Crohn's. You are referring to something called "chrons", which doesn't really exist, but I assume you are referring to chronic pain in your shoulder. Crohn's disease is named after Burrill Crohn, a doctor. His name just happens to sound similar to the word "chronic", I guess. Chronic pain just means pain that persists no matter what over a long period of time. Crohn's disease is a specific autoimmune disorder that affects that gastrointestinal tract and is related to IBS and colitis. Crohn's vs. Chron's

I'm not mad either, just pointing it out.

Thank goodness it was Dr. Crohn. My roommate has Fuch's dystrophy. You can imagine how that gets misspelled.

I think it's because he sells snake oil. I am more trained than you scientifically (sorry, but it's true) and he didn't want to give me a sample because "I didn't have enough posts". Why wouldn't he just send me a sample so that I could experiment and report my findings back to him? I know some people like to believe in homeopathic medicine, but if it worked, big Pharma would likely be behind it.

I remember the thread, and I remember you also asking for some. The reason he didn't want to give you any (for the low post count) was to weed out any undercovers. That would just be unnecessary bullshit to deal with for him, even though the oil doesn't come with the "special ingredients" you have to add that yourself so that he can legally market his product.

Also, since at least 75% of what is spent on healthcare goes towards treating chronic illness, what good would it do for big pharma to cure these people? They would lose business.

Big pharma is interested in money, not cures. That is why they're not "behind it"
