Mission accomplished last night.
I feel so much better this morning. It's hard to describe. It's like I took an anti-depressant last night. I also hurt less this morning. I think today is going to be more bearable. I'm in a much better mood.

last night was pretty bad. Tried to eat some but it hurt so much i just couldnt do it. Then later i drank some hot tea trying to see if it would settle my stomach. WRONG. it made it worse, the pains were so bad i was throwing up not very fun. Everything is dry here (when the hell is the harvest around here its about time?!?!?). I got 5 grams reserved for me on wensday when the my dealer gets it. Hopefully i can get thru tonight, cuz i know tommarrow will def be better

Damn trixx, that sucks bud. I hope today was better.
This disease is so weird all the different ways it can affect people. I read posts like yours and I feel like I have a different disease almost. I hope you can blaze tomorrow and feel better. I think I'm gonna blaze again tonight. I felt so much better today. The mental uplift was especially noticeable. Even though I had to wake up in the middle of the night to go last night, my stomach seemed to hurt less today after I ate. I wish I could get a straight night of sleep though. Haven't had one in a while. Night sweats continue too, and are so gross. I must look pretty bad, 'cause people at work are starting to ask if I'm sick. That's never happened before.

I hate when I get night sweat5s. I just have to take everything off because all of my cloths are covered in sweat when I wake up in the middle of the night. I have a fan that I point on me when I go to sleep so that helps a little with it.

I feel like my disease has progressed. Like in its first stages i would only get diaherra and minimal cramping. That was about 3 years ago. then for the last two years its been in remision for the most part. Theen this part year is when i got BAD cramps, so bad i started throwing up. Hopefully i can get it under control for another 2 or so years.

I wish I could point a fan at me. I'm not able to tolerate cold of any kind ever since I got this disease. I end up putting on a bunch of blankets when I go to bed so that I don't get cold 'cause it makes me so stiff and sore if I get cold at all. For whatever reason though, I don't feel myself getting warm and throw off the covers. By the time I wake up, everything is drenched. It's like I no longer have that "internal thermostat" to regulate my temperature.
Last night I was too warm actually. No sweating at least, but I couldn't sleep. Had to get up twice to "go" last night. Man, I need a good night's sleep. I blazed again though, and my hands and wrists are feeling better again today. Now if my feet would just stop swelling up on me. Always something....

But im athiest. Im just wondering where you guys pull your insperation from. Where you go when your hurting. What you truley live for.

I'm Agnostic. The Universe is a huge place. Who knows what our little patch of stars is in existence for? The best answer I have come up with is, "I'll see when I get there."
If I'm in a lot of pain, I find myself asking "God" for help, even though I don't have a definitive concept of just what "God" may be. I figure all that energy in space, there is someone or something that has achieved enlightenment. I like thinking there is a journey ahead. My family is my rock though. I am very fortunate in that regard. I would be in a world of hurt without their help. I live for small things. Laughs. Good food. Enjoy nature. I love to golf. Hardest game on Earth. It's been over a month since I was able to play though. All my strength is gone right now and the pain in my joints is pretty debilitating. That's been getting me down a lot lately. But I am doing my best.

I'm agnostic as well. I don't deny the possible existence of a higher being, but I realize that I wouldn't know even if there was. If that makes sense...but mostly, I really don't like organized religions. Too many rules on how and when to worship, all bullshit if you ask me.

Inspiration? Music is my big one. It's what I'm going to school for, love it, live it, breathe it, etc. It never fails to bring me up when I'm down, or at least comfort me when I feel like shit haha.

Today was decent, I had a firecracker before going to work. I find them to be the best thing for pain relief for extended periods of time. Then, went down near the Mississippi and split a bong bowl with a friend of mine. That was just in time too cause I started to get the nasty cramps, but the MJ took that straight away.

Was today any better for you trixx?

im glad there is finally a thread like this that shows how much one disease effects this many diverse people, i found out a year ago i have crohns and since then my life has changed tremendously and mj is the only way i have found that helps to counteract the symptoms that go along with this affliction. i +rep the person who started this thread

I see what you are sayin. The cold doesn't bother me as long as i'm under a sheet. I have been in a lot of pain and my stomuch has been really swollen for a couple of days. Hopefully tomorrow I can pick up some beasters.

yea, i did get my meds yesterday. I took them too. No cramps yesterday or today. I think taking them everyother day works for me. Its on that third day of not taking them that i start to get cramps.

So what's everyone doing for the Labor Day weekend? I'm taking off work tomorrow so today is my Friday! 4 days of sleeping in and rest are needed. We had one loud arse thunderstorm last night that kept me up. Lots of lightning strikes nearby. Shook the house something fierce.

Hell yeah! Just got a call from the naturopath's office. I wasn't scheduled until the end of September and they had a cancellation for tomorrow and I already had the day off. Awesome timing. Not sure what to expect exactly, but I am looking forward to getting another perspective about what's going on with my health lately. Been getting the run around from "traditional" doctors lately.
